just because

I'm thinking-no I am changing this to a photos/generic update blog. Seems all I do when I post is bitch and complain and in real life I'm not really like that (at least I don't think I am). I can't ever seem to get my real feelings out there in a fun and witty way either like other blogs I read. And, I know I have but a few readers-mostly my TCC buds *xoxo* Ü

On to the next chapter of blogging....

insatiable

I don't know what it is, but I just can't seem to satisfy my hunger cravings; which has consisted of a lot of chocolate and sugar. Maybe this inability to satisfy is deeper more emotional stuff??? hmmm, makes you wonder.

Melaina is FINALLY starting to act like her old self. I just can't believe how fast she went downhill with this recent pneumonia. We've set up an appointment to visit a pulmonologist; thankfully our pediatrician agrees w/me that getting pneumonia every year is just not typical.

I've been succumbing to my inner preteen boyishness by watching Nitro Circus and Rob Dyrdek's Factory Fantasy with my boys. I'm sure I'm not the typical demographic; what can I say I'm down with it. LOL You know what would make my day? If Big made a comeback with Rob. Ü "He's my best friend".

irritated and craving chocolate

I wonder what that could mean?
Watching tv news probably isn't helping-with all the talk about the latest budget, wall street losses, deficit, new appointees that owe taxes and all around warm and fuzzies makes me want to put my fist through the wall. Sometimes I wonder where they find these talking heads? I about fell out of my chair when Chuck Todd gave his insightful view that radio was a "dying medium." Even Mika Brzezinski balked at that. I wonder what rock he's been living under.
Let's totally change topics:
I don't know how but I got my hands on the hot, hot, hot Project 365 kit from Creating Keepsakes.

It's always this time of year when my good intentions of keeping up with a new project such as this falls apart and I never complete it. But, I'm proud to say I have stuck with this. Albeit I'm short a few photos- but I'm allowing myself not to worry about it. Here are just a couple pix from the last few weeks.

Wyatt's school had a program called Hoosier Hysteria-all of the 4th grade classes were assigned famous Hoosiers. They had to research the person, make a speech, come up w/a costume, make a poster and ticket box. It's was like a living museum. We had tickets to put in the boxes and the child came to life as their famous person. Can you tell who Wyatt was? His white hair was fading by the time I took this photo.......................................he was Orville Redenbacher.

realizations

  • It's been a long while since I've updated. Too many things have happened to go back so let's start anew.
  • I need a set schedule; otherwise I just want to sit and watch t.v- some of my latest viewings: the new season of Lost, Confessions of a Teen Idol, Real World Brooklyn, The Secret Life of an American Teenager, Grey's Anatomy, Paranormal State. Just to name a few. LOL
  • Potty training has been a bust.
  • Why is 4th grade math so hard?
  • Yes, we have 11+ inches of snow-why couldn't we have had it at Christmas time? It's only 9am and the boys are already asking to go sledding at Glenns Valley park.
  • I desperately need to log in to Facebook and update my info. I'm always afraid to go there because I know I'll just get sucked into that time consuming vortex of checking on peoples new status changes and new pictures and writing on walls...it's never ending

Until next time.
